Organisation
Uppsala Diabetes Centre is headed by a director and a deputy director. The board consists of representatives from all disciplinary domains, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and students. The director and the board appoint an advisory management group.
The network
The research network comprises about 100 senior researchers. In addition, there are also PhD students and postdocs as well as representatives from the University Hospital, close care and health, patient associations, Uppsala Clinical Research Center and UU Innovation.
Scientific advisory board
The Uppsala Diabetes Centre scientific advisory board consists of six national or international experts appointed by the UDC board.
Focus area groups
The focus area groups are responsible for course content and planning around each area, for example, seminar series.
